While my parents were here, I wanted to show off my bread baking skills so I made a loaf of French Bread in my bread machine.
I used a recipe from the booklet that came with my breadmaker. Here’s what I did:
In your bread pan, put 12 1/2 oz of warm water (It said to use 80*F water, but I just used warm tap water).
Add: 2 tablespoons of butter, 4 1/4 cups of flour, 2 teaspoons of sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoon of salt and a packet of active yeast (I think it comes out to 2 1/4 teaspoons).
Bake it on the basic setting and you’re good to go 🙂
